Winton is pleased to announce that approval has been granted for the Sunfield Masterplanned community under the Fast-Track Approvals Act 2024. The decision marks a significant milestone for the Sunfield Masterplanned community. The consent allows for the development of:
- 3,854 healthy homes, consisting of individual homes and 3 retirement villages containing independent living units;
- A 47 hectare industrial business park;
- A 7.7 hectare town centre;
- A 2.3 hectare healthcare precinct;
- A school;
- A 19.4 hectare parcel of land for a section of Mill Road stage 2;
- A further 4 local retail hubs totaling 4.3 hectares throughout the community; and
- 25.9 hectares of open spaces, green links, recreation parks and reserves and ecological areas which includes an extensive restoration and native planting of the core stream and wetland network.
